The Alliance

“Bündnis Entwicklung Hilft” (Alliance Development Works) takes action in disasters and crisis areas in order to provide emergency and long-term aid at local level. The Alliance is formed by the seven relief organisations Brot für die Welt, Christoffel-Blindenmission, Kindernothilfe, medico international, Misereor, terre des hommes and Welthungerhilfe.

Cooperation partner

The United Nations University (UNU) is the academic arm of the UN. Its activities centre on sustainable solutions to problems facing humanity. In Bonn, UNU has been running the Institute for Environment and Human Security (UNU-EHS) since 2003.

Supporter

The “Stiftung Umwelt und Entwicklung Nordrhein-Westfalen” supports civil society involvement. It promotes projects run by non-profit organisations in the fields of environment and development. Its support activities focus on environmental education, development education and intercultural learning.
